10. Tony Hill:

Anthony Lloyd Hill, best known in the circuit, as Tony Hill was born in 1951 in Auckland, New Zealand. A kiwi by birth, Tony Hill has had a prolific career as an umpire on the international scene, and continues to do so. First, he officiated in a match ODI between the New Zealand and Zimbabwe in 1998, followed by his first test match as an umpire in 2001 played between the New Zealand and Bangladesh. 2009 was a successful year for him because he was enrolled in the Panel of ICC elite umpires then.

9. Steve Bucknor:

Stephen Anthony Bucknor or Steve Bucknor was one of the most experienced umpires of cricket. Born in the year 1946, Bucknor was initially a football referee. It was then taken to arbitrators in games of cricket at the age of 45. His first test match umpire was in 1989 during a test between the West Indies and the India. Also, he has officiated in his first ODI in the same year, again between the West Indies and the India. Steve Buckor has an exceptional number of 128 test matches and 181 ODIs under his belt. His career had a controversial end when he shot several bad decisions in a test match between the Australia and the India in 2007 for which he was prescribed the arbitrators for awhile. He has made a small comeback a few months later, but then announced his retirement in 2009.

8. Aleem Dar:

Aleem Dar was born in 1968 in Pakistan. The Pakistani umpire began his trade as a referee while he had only 30. It started as an umpire international in 2000, debuting between Pakistan and Sri Lanka. Two years later, he was selected in the Panel of ICC umpires. Aleem Dar officiated in 74 test matches and ODIs 151 so far and continues to do so. At the present time, it is more successful cricket umpire. He won three consecutive what ICC umpire of the year awards in 2009, 2010 and 2011. Aleem Dar had a brilliant World Cup 2011, as he gave 15 consecutive decisions who won a battle against Drs. challenges.

7. Ian Gould:

Better known as a gunner by his colleagues and the people around him, Ian Gould was born in England in 1957. He continued to represent England as an international umpire and was a great success at high levels. Gould also represented the English team that has used its services to be a drummer left-handed wicket-keeper. Interestingly, Ian Gould had football connections incredible too. He represented one of the best clubs in England Arsenal as a goalkeeper, that is why it is called the shooter. His first test of umpire was in 2008 when he officiated a match between South Africa and Bangladesh. However, he has done is much earlier in 2006 in a match between England and Sri Lanka umpire in ODI debut. Gould had a good international career as an umpire, standing in 30 tests and 73 ODIs so far. However, he was much talked about at the beginning of his career when he wrongly floundered Sachin on 99 at the Rose Bowl in 2007 in a match between the India and England. But everything has minimised and Gould has fashioned a decent career until today.

6. Simon Taufel:

Simon James Arthur Taufel, was born January 21, 1971 in St Leonards, new South Wales. Currently retired, he had a strong career as an umpire of Australian cricket at international level. Halliday made his international debut in 1999 in an ODI between Sri Lanka and Ausralia. He then making his debut in 2000, between the Australia and the West Indies. Famous, he put in bags five umpire consecutive ICC of the year between 2004 and 2008 to which people began to consider him as one of the best referees of cricket. September 26, 2012, he announced his retirement from international cricket after the final ICC World Twenty20 by 2012 and would take the new role of umpire Performance and responsible for training. Halliday has divisions in 74 tests, 174 ODIs and T20s 34 before he announces his retirement.

5. Daryl Harper:

Daryl John Harper was born in the year of the Australia 1951.Hailing; He went to mark an international career perfect as an umpire. He began passing referee in 1983 and the first umpire Australian to be selected in the umpires of the ICC elite Panel. Harper had a career long arbitrator between the years 1998 and 2011. It was forced to retire in 2011 for all formats of the game as it argued that its referees standards had hit an all time low. But then again, Harper had a brilliant career as an umpire. Brent Fraser Bowden, popularly known as Billy Bowden was born in the year 1963.The kiwi umpire has made a strong mark as an international umpire. His first ODI as umpire was in 1995 between the New Zealand and Sri Lanka. He then made his debut as an umpire in 2000 between the New Zealand and the Australia. Billy arbitrators still at the present time, and its record reached 75 ODIs and 181 tests with 19 T20s to go with it. Billy Bowden was incorporated into the Panel of umpires ICC Elite in the year 2003. David Shepherd, born December 27, 1940, is best known as one of the most popular umpires in the world. He represented Gloucestershire, in the English County for 14 years as a drummer of stony average order. After his County career, Shepherd qualified for arbitrators in 1981. He is past fairly quickly to a first umpire in 1983 in England World Cup, when Pakistan played Sri Lanka in Swansea. His debut test as an umpire was in the 1985 Ashes series, the fourth test at Old Trafford, Manchester. He is best known as the umpire cheerful, sparkling between teams and coaches. An interesting fact on David Shepherd has been every time did a little jig or hop all time any score would reach 111. During his long career, he officiated in 172 ODIs, which included finals in 1999, 2003 and 2007 World Cup. His test meter rises to 92 tests. David married his girlfriend for a long time in 2008. However, a year later it has expired due to lung cancer. A tragic end to a phenomenal life.

1. Dickie Bird:

Harold Dennis Bird was better known as Dickie Bird. Born on April 19, 1933 in Yorkshire, Bird became one of the greatest and legendary cricket referees. He was a high school dropout and worked in a coal mine in his debut. First passion of the bird Dickie was football, which he had to stop playing after an injury. Then, he took to cricket and began playing cricket in the County of Yorkshire. He then coach for a term before entering mediating activities. Bird Dickie first officiated in a test match between England and the New Zealand in Yorkshire. Therefore, he went on officiate in 66 test matches which was once a record. Umpire Dickie Bird stood out there in the center for the final of the three-1975 World Cup, 1979 and 1983. It has divisions 69 one day Internationals. In 2012, he received the officer of the order of the British Empire (OBE) for his contribution to the game of cricket and charity. In his last test match in 1996, he was given a guard of honor by Indian and English actors.
