They have worked for the welfare of humanity with their research and facilitated our modern lives. Scientists continued research in various areas around the world.

10: Archimedes
Born in Syracuse, he was a pioneer in announcing the advent of the age of reason and logic. Best known for his theory on buoyancy, it is the source of inspiration for modern times, while he designed a litany of mechanical systems such as screws and the handle which find applications wide range in our machines and engineering tools, thus giving way to the rise of mechanical engineering paving. Is believed it helped the King to find that his Crown is not pure but falsified gold and came out crying “Eureka” on the streets. His contributions to mathematics and hydrostatically were recognized years later when their applications were used in the industry. Unfortunately, he was killed in a battle.
9: Galileo
Galileo is an Italian physicist, mathematician, astronomer, and philosopher. Known as the “father of Science”, Galileo has played an important role in the scientific revolution. His publications were primarily to astronomical observations. He is known for having propagated ideas of inductive reasoning. Apart from the observation of the phase shifts of Venus, he also observed Saturn and Neptune and sunspots using its own version of the telescope. He picked up the learning of mathematics and designed the military compass. He was the first to study the laws of motion and added that nature is governed by mathematical laws. However he was found guilty of heresy by the Orthodox Church, which has led to his imprisonment until his death in 1642.
8: Isaac Newton
Regarded as the greatest scientist ever born, Isaac Newton is known for the incident infamous apple and the cliché of modern times “every action has an equal and opposite reaction”. Known as the father of classical mechanics, his experiences led to the famous 3 laws of motion. Isaac Newton was a man whose vision have reached a level of versatility. Both, mechanics, optics and mathematics; Newton developed each of these areas to a new dimension. Discover the calculation, the key element for all mathematical treatments of physical data, it gave birth to a new era of Science and technology. He did y virtually no Physics without mention of Newton. He mentored the theory of gravitation. He was a student at Trinity College, Cambridge. Birth of Newton in the year of the death of Galileo is often called a mysterious coincidence.
7: Michael Faraday
The “father of electromagnetism ‘, Faraday has played an essential role in the development of electricity and magnetism and revealed to the world that these physical phenomena are interrelated.” Faraday was an excellent experimenter who submitted his ideas in the simplest of all kinds. Its main findings are electromagnetic induction and electrolysis. It was his efforts that were influential in bringing electricity as a key element in all modern appliances and gadgets. He was very keen on education and gives public lectures. Even with this minimal formal education, he became one of the most renowned of scientists the world has ever known.
6: James Maxwell
Known to unify the concepts of electricity, magnetism and optics equation, now called Maxwell’s equations, it showed that they are a fundamental concept of electromagnetism. He was a theoretical scientist known for having developed the first color photography and also worked on the mechanics of the body rigid. It has laid the Foundation for the relativity and quantum mechanics and the way paved for the development of modern physics.
5: Thomas Edison
Edison was born in Ohio, USA. With more than 1000 patents to his name, he is best known for his work on the phonograph and the light bulb practice which soon attracted the world’s attention. Having faced difficulties since his childhood, he was educated by his mother and is mentioned as a pioneer of industrial technology for building the House of the electrical energy that has worked on DC. It is also known for his strong opposition to current alternative that Tesla has found much more useful and effective. His recording of phonograph suddenly surprised that people called the “Wizard of Menlo Park”. He was one of most prolific inventors, patents ranging across a wide variety of fields in everyday life of use.
4: Nikola Tesla
Nikola Tesla was a Serbian American scientist. Widely known for his contributions to electrical engineering, mainly the AC power supply conventions, he patented the engine induction AC and transformer. He is also involved in the invention of radio. Tesla contribution to the development of the AC was the source of all power major offer redefined industrial outputs and the original configuration. He is also known for experiments of high frequency high voltage and x-ray experiments. Modern power supply systems owe much to the brilliance of Tesla in electrical engineering.
3: Albert Einstein
Synonymous with the genius of the floor, he formulated the theory of relativity, one of the twin of modern physics boards, the other being the quantum mechanics. It was derived from the famous equation E = mc2 that eventually led to the project Manhattan and work on the atomic bomb. He received the Nobel Prize in 1905 for his work on the photoelectric work. He developed the concept of being a bunch of photons, light thus rejecting Newton’s corpuscular theory and showed that Newton’s laws failed at the atomic level. He is also known for the Brownian motion and Bose-Einstein condensate. He was against learning by heart since childhood which led to its momentum of the school. He has been exceptional in math and physics and has developed the theory of quantum mechanics and subatomic particles.
2: Neils Bohr
Neils Bohr is a Danish physicist who developed the Atomic model which to this day, explained various subatomic phenomena. Its model of an atom is the best one proposed that covered all major aspects, making some important assumptions. He received the Nobel Prize in the year 1922 in this regard outside of having worked on quantum mechanics. He suggested that the electrons revolve in the levels of energy that has been important in understanding various effects. It was to develop an analogy of electrons around the nucleus with the solar system. His theory was brilliant that it could be applied to all elements of the array periodic and thus served as an important step in the progress of chemistry and Molecular Sciences.
1: Marie Curie
A Polish physicist and chemist, it is universally known for his pioneering work of radioactivity. She was the first woman to win the Nobel Prize, the only woman to win two fields, and the only person to win multiple Sciences. In 1903, she received the Nobel Prize in physics with her husband Pierre Curie and in 1911; she received the Nobel Prize in chemistry. She has discovered plutonium and radium and carried out extensive research on radioactivity. She has proposed a theory of radioactivity and also a method for separation of radioactive isotopes. It is considered a symbol of women’s empowerment in the field of science with his grandiose and pierced achievements. Unfortunately, she died of anemia caused by years of exposure to radiation through his work and his research.
